A lot happened this year that caused major distraction. There were some personal matters that had to be resolved and are now completed. Some landscaping work in the garden did not go smoothly and took ages to restore the garden back to some sort of normality. Work still needs to be carried out on the lawn next year.I find it very hard to paint when there is too much disorder around me, calm and ordered is best. For a painting to be resolved it must touch something in me if not it is scrapped. There have been a number of scrapped works this year. I don't believe in letting paintings go if I don't believe in them.. I have been going through historic work and taking some paintings off my list. It’s refreshing to have a sort out every few years or so. See you in 2026 Happy New year
