Painting with words...
For a few weeks I have been working on a painting for an open exhibition,a painting that would be different and unusual. I based my idea on some work I had done during a course for a project that required e an art work to be made in a non art space.I took my sketchbook to the end of a track near at hand, I sat on a grassy bank to record what occurred Various people passed with and without dogs, someone jogging, boys with a ball. I became distracted by the noise, and began writing down the sounds. I was near where the track finished at a road with another lane opposite.A cross road of sorts. Vehicles noisy, rattling, booming, a motorbike brumming

[Every 20 minutes a crow scarer went off . Overhead a helicopter and single engine plane with learner pilot doing stall and recovery. Horses passed one with a loose she that made a hollow ring on the road Further back the footpath was being repaired by a small digger and a dumper moving rubble. Garden noise mowers, chainsaws, birds robins blackbirds rooks pigeons , bees and wasps and lastly a cat that was pleased to have someone to sit by.

It was very challenging to come up with a title that did not turn into a narrative. Finally added some narrative around all four edges
